The online Assistive and Rehabilitative Technology certificate program focuses on the application of science and technology to improve the quality of life of individuals with disabilities. Students will have an opportunity to learn about assistive technology and rehabilitative technology, and the role of technology in the lives of individuals with disabilities. The program provides students with an educational foundation to prepare them for the RESNA assistive technology professional exam. The flexible online program utilizes educational technologies, including case study videos and discussions, to give students a breadth of educational experience. 

The ARTC program is offered at the undergraduate and graduate levels to accommodate individuals seeking an educational pathway to develop or expand their skills with assistive and rehabilitation technology.

Undergraduate Academic Certificate Program

The undergraduate Assistive and Rehabilitative Technology certificate is designed for students who are currently employed as a rehabilitation technician or technologist or those who want to be eligible to take the Assistive Technology Professional Certification exam.
