The 100% online Master in Geographic Information Science and Technology (MGIST) allows students to apply spatial analysis tools to solve real-world problems and understand the core values of geographic information systems (GIS). This rigorous yet flexible curriculum taught by the same world-class faculty on campus will equip students with the necessary tools and cutting-edge technology needed to advance in their professional careers.  

Once students complete this program, they will have a well-rounded knowledge of managing geospatial databases, insights into geospatial problems through data-driven analysis, and the ability to explain fundamental concepts and practices of geographic information systems.

Class Format: Asynchronous, meaning you can attend classes on your own schedule.
